Our center and Ed Chemical jointly carry out research on super friction coefficient lubricating oils

Recently, the Lubrication New Material Research and Development Center of Tsinghua Pearl River Delta Research Institute (referred to as the Lubrication Center) and Shenzhen Aide Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. signed a technology development cooperation agreement to jointly carry out new material technology research and development, aiming to jointly overcome the technical difficulties of ultra-low friction lubrication new materials and promote the development of China's high-end lubrication industry. This cooperation will inject new impetus into the field of engine lubricants, promote the development of the industry towards ultra-low friction coefficient, and help the transportation and transportation industry achieve the "dual carbon" goal.

Ultra low friction coefficient engine oil can effectively improve engine performance, save fuel consumption, and solve the problem of burning engine oil, significantly reducing the content of hydrocarbons, nitrogen oxides, and carbon monoxide in exhaust gas, which has a positive impact on improving engine exhaust emissions and reducing environmental pollution.

This project is the first horizontal technology project of the Lubrication Center and the second external cooperation project after the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's "Key Technology Project for Lithium Extraction from Salt Lakes". Since its establishment, the Lubrication Center has actively carried out research on green lubrication technology, created efficient and energy-saving oil products, and provided professional lubrication services for enterprises. Collaborating with enterprises to carry out technological research is an important way to achieve the transformation of research and development achievements in lubrication centers.
