HD Long-Drain Methanol Engine Oil

source:Original Inputtime:2025-08-29 15:14:15
Product Description
The HD series is a line of long-drain engine oils specifically engineered for methanol engines. Its formulation features enhanced resistance to oxidation, corrosion and sludge, enabling oil drain intervals to surpass 20000 km and making it a rare extended-drain methanol engine oil product in the market. The HD series products have passed extensive engine tests and road trials, demonstrating its ability to effectively prevent corrosion and rust caused by methanol combustion, reduce power loss and extend component service life.

Features and Benefits
1. Superb corrosion inhibition and acid neutralization properties protect the engine from corrosion caused by formic acid, a by-product of methanol combustion.
2. Low ash content, high Total Base Number (TBN), and excellent TBN retention.
3. Superior high-temperature stability ensures reliable performance under high-load conditions.
4. Exceptional detergency and dispersancy keep pistons clean, and minimize carbon deposits and varnish formation.
5. Delivers excellent EP and anti-wear properties along with outstanding oxidation resistance.
6. Long-drain formulation enables oil drain intervals to surpass 20000 KM.

Applications
Suitable for lubricating spark ignition (SI) methanol engines and methanol range-extenders. HD20 is for passenger cars; HD30 for passenger cars or commercial vehicle engines; HD40 for commercial vehicle engines or methanol-powered generator sets.
