Product Description
HY3333 is a new generation friction modifier characterized by its low molybdenum content and high lubricity.
Features and Benefits
1. Outstanding solubility -- Solve the solubility issues inherent in previous MoDTC. It features lower viscosity and superior low-temperature fluidity. It demonstrates excellent compatibility with mineral, synthetic oil, Group Ⅱ, Ⅲ and Ⅳ base oils, as well as other additives, with no precipitation or haze.
2. Excellent compatibility --Suitable for formulating engine oils across a wide range of viscosity grades (0W/16 to 15W/40) and API performance categories (SL to SP). It is compatible with both new and existing formulations.
3. Superior tribology performance --Delivers a lower friction coefficient to improve fuel economy and reduce noise. It provides outstanding engine wear protection under various operating conditions, from cold starts to high-temperature, high-speed operation.
4. Durability --The advanced formulation helps maintain stable molybdenum levels in the oil throughout the entire drain interval. It specifically ensures the oil’s friction-reducing properties are maintained even after 5000 km of operation.
5. Enhanced oxidation inhibition and corrosion protection --Effectively mitigates the issues of metal - catalyzed oxidation and corrosion common with MoDTC product, especially at higher treat rates.
6. Very low sulfated ash --Compatible with Gasoline Particulate Filters (GPF) and Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF), and helps reduce intake deposit formation.
Applications
HY3333 is recommended for use in both modern hybrid engines and traditional internal combustion engines. The recommended treat rate is 0.5%-1.0%.
